Green Milk Weed

Also known as ‘kiri aguna kola’ in Sri Lanka. It is famous in Sri Lanka as a nutritionally dense leaf which is being used to make salads, fried dishes etc., since Sri Lankan cuisine is famous for using edible leaves. According to records, the green milkweed plant is native to North America – particularly to the United States. Studies have shown that green milkweed climber has healing properties to cure diabetes, reduce symptoms of asthma and coughing, and many more health conditions. So, it’s a good choice to include green mild climbers in our diet.
